Are you a people person with a passion for property?

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and organised Lettings Agent to join the team at Ether Property Lettings.

 

In this fast-paced role, you will be the face of our agency, guiding tenants to their dream homes and helping landlords achieve the best possible returns. Whether you are conducting viewings across Liverpool, negotiating offers, or handing over the keys on move-in day, you will play a vital role in our growth.

 

What you’ll be doing:
You will match pre-qualified applicants to our property portfolio, conduct viewings, negotiate tenancy terms, and ensure the move-in process is seamless. If you love closing deals and delivering great customer service, we want to hear from you.

 

Main Purpose of the Role: To maximise the number of properties let by matching applicants to suitable properties, negotiating tenancy terms, and delivering exceptional customer service to both Landlords and Tenants.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Applicant Management: Registering new applicants, understanding their requirements, and adding them to the database.

  • Viewings: Arranging and conducting property viewings in a professional and timely manner.

  • Negotiation: Acting as the middleman between tenant and landlord to agree on rent prices, move-in dates, and tenancy lengths.

  • Feedback: Providing honest and constructive feedback to landlords within 24 hours of viewings.

  • Sales: promoting additional services such as Property Management Services. 

  • Compliance: Conducting “Right to Rent” checks and ensuring all applicants meet referencing criteria (income/credit checks).

  • Administration: Preparing the initial “Offer Agreed” paperwork and taking holding deposits.

  • Key Handover: Conducting move-in appointments and ensuring tenants are settled.

Person Specification

Essential 

  • Driver’s Licence: A full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle. 

  • Sales Flair: A natural ability to build rapport

  • Communication Skills: Excellent telephone manner and the ability to write professional emails.

  • Organisation: Capable of managing a busy diary, punctuality for viewings, and handling multiple enquiries simultaneously.

  • Resilience: The ability to handle rejection and overcome drawbacks

  • IT Literacy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM software

Desirable 

  • Experience: Previous experience in Lettings, Estate Agency, or a targeted sales role.

  • Qualifications: ARLA Propertymark (Level 3) qualification. Training will be provided. 

  • Local Knowledge: A good understanding of the Liverpool property market, schools, and transport links.
