Ether Property Lettings is seeking experienced Window Fitters and Glaziers to join our preferred supplier list. Windows and doors are high-traffic items in rental properties and we need partners who are just as comfortable replacing a faulty locking mechanism as they are installing a new composite door.

Key Responsibilities:

• Glazing Repairs: Measure and replace “broken-down” or misted double-glazed sealed units into existing frames (uPVC, timber, or aluminium).

• Hardware Maintenance: Repair or replace faulty handles, friction hinges, locks, and restrictors.

• Security: Provide emergency boarding-up services following break-ins or accidental damage.

• Installations: Supply and fit new windows and doors (ensuring building control compliance) when repairs are not viable.

• Draft Proofing: Check and replace rubber gaskets and seals; install trickle vents where required for ventilation.

• Tenant Liaison: Arrange access efficiently and leave the property secure and clean (no glass shards).

What We Are Looking For:

• Experienced: Strong background in uPVC and double glazing repairs (remedial work is a large part of this role).

• Accredited: FENSA or CERTASS registration is essential if quoting for full frame replacements.

• Versatile: Able to work on modern uPVC as well as older timber sash windows (preferred but not essential).

• Equipped: Must have own van, glazing tools, and safe glass transport racks.

• Reliable: Accurate measuring is critical to avoid return visits and wasted costs.
